Pointed Blue-eyed Grass (Sisyrinchium angustifolium)

Look closely in the tall grass and you will not miss this very special blue flower sitting imposingly on the top of a long grass-like stalk. This nice flower is "closed" when it rains.

    Vipers Bugloss (Echium vulgare)

Its seed looks like a viper's head. In accordance with the "Doctrine of Signatures" it should be good to cure vipers' bites ! Does it grow where vipers live ?

      Heal All  (Prunella vulgaris )

It grows anywhere, even on lawns. Then it is a weed ! The individual flower on the cluster looks like a throat so it must be good for throat diseases.
